Gelli Plate Printing with Nature at the Ukrainian History and Education Center

Sunday, June 14, 2026
1:00 pm – 2:30 pm

We will use materials found in nature, such as leaves, plants and bark to explore printing and color combinations. Using charcoal, pastels and acrylics we will print to lightweight rice paper. You will have a collection of prints for your own crafting projects, making cards or books. Gelli printing is a playful, hands-on printmaking process using a soft gel plate, vibrant paints, and textured materials. Participants will explore layering, pattern, and color to produce unique, expressive prints—no prior experience needed.
